Safety and environmental issues including workshops for correctional workers responsible for conducting weekly and monthly institution inspections to ensure a safe and healthful environment for staff and inmates to work and live; safety inspections; follow-up and corrective actions; personal protective equipment; electrical safety lock-out/tag-out; confined space entry; asbestos and lead identification; employee and inmate safety training; control and labeling of hazardous materials; ACA pre and post training for safety standards; workers compensation cost effectiveness; environmental health; housekeeping/sanitation controls; personal hygiene for detainees; cross contamination/hair care services; blood borne pathogens/infection control; life safety and fire protection; hazardous/non-hazardous furnishings; fire drills; emergency (contingency) plans, and control and communication of hazardous materials.

Creative Corrections is a member of the NFPA and Robbie Church who is a the senior fire and safety consultant for Creative Corrections served on the correctional detention committee for NFPA for ten years prior to his retirement as the national safety administrator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
